Phra Attharot

King Nang Klao had the viharn constructed in the west of the ordination hall. The roof is covered with glazed tiles,
and decorated with a gable apex, and toothlike ridges on the sloping edges of the gable. Both pediments are
decorated with mosaic. King Nang Klao also had Phra Attharot housed inside the hall. This Buddha image hall is
facing the north, overlooking Mahanak Canal. It is said that whenever King Nang Klao went by barge to offer bathing robes at Wat Srakesa during a royal Kathin ceremony, he would disembark at a pavilion by Mahanak Canal in the north and would go firstly to the viharn,in order to pay respect to Phra Attharot by lighting candles and incense sticks before going into the ordination hall.
